Windwise has undertaken the complete refurbishment of ten Kenersys K110 turbines that have been in operation for twelve years at a wind farm in Rhineland-Palatinate. The turbines were dismantled as part of a repowering project and transported by Windwise to the Port of Emden for a general overhaul. The turbines, removed from a 145-meter-high concrete tower, were fitted with a new 95-meter-high steel tower and are now awaiting their second life in a project in Namibia.
