In the maxcap project, a base-load optimised wind turbine is being developed and designed for demand-responsive energy production.

The purpose of the project is, in addition to the further development of existing technologies for the drive train, to develop and design an overall system of a wind turbine generator for previously uneconomic locations (low wind locations) onshore. Additionally,we reduce the volatility of the feed-in (better base-load capability) and maximise the capacity factor.
