windwise is an independent engineering company specialising in the requirements of the wind industry, from the development and construction of multi-MW turbines to support in purchasing, quality assurance, project planning and technical management of WTGs.

At its headquarters in Münster, windwise employs a team of people with more than 300 years of combined experience in the wind industry. A large number of the employees have been responsible in decisive functions for the development of various, globally successful wind energy generators, such as the original GE Wind 1.5 MW turbine, which is one of the most successful turbines ever, with more than 18,000 wind turbine generators (WTGs) installed worldwide.

In addition, the team was responsible for the development and design of the products of the Indian-German manufacturer Kenersys as well as for setting up the corresponding production facilities, materials management and the service organisation for maintenance and operation of the wind turbine generators.
